Twitter lists on mobile; impossible?
I looked all through the UI. I searched the Twitter support pages. I searched the Internet and found several people asking the same questions on Quora. But I can’t find a good answer anywhere to such a simple question.
Why can’t I manage Twitter Lists from my mobile device? The more I use Twitter the more I need to segment the feeds. Humor is different than Tech is different than...

Kindle's share feature is pretty broken

Violating rule, never start a series which is not already finished

I’m reading a new book. But you’d never know it from the tweet that Kindle
generated. The title is missing, why? It’s also silly that I cannot simply
tweet the title of the book. Instead I need to select text or an excerpt to...
Commune Magazine →
Commune Magazine is a user generated, interactive magazine for the iPad. Submit content, vote and be voted, and share the magazine profits.
Interesting idea, very similar to one my colleague Richard has proposed. I’m interested to see where this goes.
LinkedIn has an app for iPad, how about it Tumblr
The web experience on LinkedIn with iPad wasn’t bad but the recent app
launch is better. What’s taking Tumblr so long? At this point I rely
heavily on Flipboard to deal with Tumblr content but that doesn’t mean I
wouldn’t like and use a native app.
Of course now that reminds me that I want Flipboard to work better with
LinkedIn:-)

535. Time is precious. Cancel your magazine...
I would modify: time is precious. Unsubscribe from email lists and services. I delete anything if I skip reading it for a week.

Android Is Suddenly In A Lot Of Trouble - Business... →
This article has many interesting points but completely misses
something vitally important: content matters. The reason people buy
iPhones is they know all the good stuff is there. Android? Maybe. This
is brought home by the note that the only Android tablet to sell well
was the Kindle Fire. The Fire sold well because consumers knew the
Amazon content pipeline was behind it. It’s just a...
I was probably being an idiot then.
– David Karp, Tumblr CEO, explaining the reversal of his previous statements decrying the possibility of putting ads on Tumblr. Tumblr will begin selling ad space in May. (via tpmmedia)
Nice to see someone just admit it.

This is an interesting and bold step for Twitter, kudos to them!

Anyone else surprised to see Los Angeles on that list and not Boston? I’m not quite clear on how these locations were chosen, worth digging in a...
Facebook and Instagram: didn't see that one coming →
I surely didn’t see that one coming. Facebook already does a good job owning the photo-sharing market. So why did they buy Instagram, especially right before their own IPO?
One answer would be Google. Could G+ have been looking for a good way to boost the network? They could surely use more traffic, especially more of the friendly, nice, funny cat/cheeseburger/artsy stuff on Instagram.

Countering perceptions that Google+ is a ghost town few actually visit, total visits to the social network actually grew to 61 million in March, up 27% from the previous month, according to Experian Hitwise. The following chart…
This is an example of a fairly meaningless stat. Could Google+ be doing better than many people think? Sure. But this...

deepthinking:
I haven’t really grown tired of it but I now have an iPad and find two aspects of it keeping me away from tumblr these:
The iPhone app is great but they really need to step up the game and get an iPad/tablet app out…relying on the iPhone app on the iPad is seriously…
Calling out to Tumblr HQ, where is the iPad app? Even Twitter did one.
Android Economics | Asymco →
digithoughts:
So in terms of returns, Android is sustainable. However, in relative terms the value created leaves much to be desired. Whereas Android generates $1.70/device/year and thus an Android device with a two year life generates about $3.5 to Google over its life, Apple obtained $576.3 for each iOS device it sold in 2011. The economics of Android are nothing like the economics of...
