Flurry tapped a sample of 8 million mobile users across all application categories, with its analytics tools tracking more than 180,000 iOS, Android, Windows Phone, BlackBerry and HTML5 apps. Photo and video at the top, followed by music. Sort of begs the question what does “entertainment” mean in this chart. That said, if one wanted to do something on mobile it seems like the space is wide open for productivity, ie the rest of our lives not taking photos or listening to Spotify.
