Obesity, the current and next epidemic. It’s hard to imagine we as a country and planet could get much tubbier but it seems like the predictions have been good so far (predicted rate of 40 today which turned out to be 35.7). There is room for some hope though as companies are finally looking to disrupt the cycle. Nothing can turn around a problem as fast as the lure of new solutions which make tons of cash.
