I’ve been enjoying Lift so far. But I have one suggestion: start tracking on a 21-day habit forming cycle. One of the key pieces of advice most gurus and habit-freeing people say is that it takes 21 days to make a habit. So why not put in some encouragement like that, e.g. some peer recognition or perhaps simply making sure that people have a goal line in mind.
Okay, I said one suggestion, but another: allow for a simple habit to roll up into something real. For instance the top habits right now are things like “exercise” which is great. But the real goal for most people is “get fit so I look good”; then add habits around that. Yes, keep the UI clean and simple, that’s one of the really nice pieces of Lift.
