And herein lies the problem with so many sites and apps; they try for user-base rather than customers.
It’s easy to get caught up in the simple numbers but also easy to forget that this is a pay-for-play system. At bottom we provide a service and the customer pays for it.
I wonder how many strange looks I will get today when I say “customer” instead of “user”.
